Liang et al. reported a similar finding in a microarray study focusing on DElncRNAs and DEmRNAs between keloid tissue and normal skin tissue and found that the lncRNA CACNA1G-AS, an antisense RNA to CACNA1G, which encodes a calcium channel subtype, was upregulated in keloid tissue in independent pairs of samples [14]. The gene discussed is CACNA1G; the disease is keloid.
