DPYD and cancer: Eight core ADME genes coding for phase I drug metabolism enzymes showed significant associations of their intratumoral expression levels with OS rates in cancers, including dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPYD) and seven CYP genes (2C19, 2C8, 2C9, 2D6, 2E1, 3A4, 3A5) (Figure 1, Table 2).
