Roscovitine was administered to adult CF patients for the first time in the ROSCO-CF trial, a dose escalation, phase IIa, multicenter, randomized, controlled trial of CF patients with two CF-causing mutations, including at least one F508del-CFTR mutation, chronically infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa (NCT02649751). Here, CFTR is linked to cystic fibrosis.
