A meta-analysis of 11 similar studies indicated that the frequency of EDNRB methylation was substantially higher in prostate cancer compared with normal prostate tissues (OR = 5.42, 95 % CI = 1.98–14.88, P = 0.001), suggesting that EDNRB promoter methylation might increase the risk of prostate cancer [11]. Here, EDNRB is linked to prostate carcinoma.
