IFNG and viral infectious disease: This indicates that IFN-I signaling plays a role in RV16-stimulated IFNγ production by NK cells, and is consistent with previous studies on the role of IFN-I on NK cell IFNγ in other viral infections (Biron et al., 1999; Gary-Gouy et al., 2002; Martinez et al., 2008; Kronstad et al., 2018).
