KRAS and neoplasm: Similar to the other two RAS members, KRAS and HRAS, NRAS was involved in cell growth, differentiation, and proliferation (Parker and Mattos, 2018; Murugan et al., 2019), and its deregulation was implicated in the metabolism of tumor cells, microenvironment remodeling, and the evasion of tumoral immune response (Mandalà et al., 2014).
