The PPI network resulted in an interesting finding that, TRAF6, ADRB2, AR, ESR1, FGFR1, FLNA, MAPK1, MAPK3, IGF1R, and POMC were identified as the top 10 hub genes owing to their higher connectivity, suggesting these genes may play important regulatory roles in the pathogenesis of osteoporosis. This evidence concerns the gene MAPK1 and osteoporosis.
