Multivariate analysis showed that neutrophil counts (OR, 1.286; 95% CI, 1.007–1.536; p = 0.005) and CRP (OR, 1.047; 95% CI, 1.016–1.079; p = 0.003) levels were found to be independent predictors of adverse clinical outcomes of COVID-19 (Table 7). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and COVID-19.
