Overall, this study adds to the growing body of evidence suggesting that IL-10 based therapy may be a promising avenue to develop treatments for a number of cardiac pathologies associated with heart failure, including those induced by pressure overload (Verma et al., 2012; Verma et al., 2017), myocardial infarction (Krishnamurthy et al., 2009), high fat diet (Kondo et al., 2018) and angiotensin (Kishore et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and heart failure.
