To investigate if inducing age-related changes with progerin could enhance HD-like phenotypes in patient iPSC-derived neurons similar to what we observed in primary neurons, we infected HD (CAG43, CAG71, CAG109) and control (CAG18, CAG21, CAG33) neural progenitors with AAV2/1-GFP-progerin or AAV2/1-nGFP during BDNF-dependent differentiation toward a striatal-like fate. Here, BDNF is linked to Huntington disease.
