Ji et al. (2013) demonstrated that miR-146a regulated the level of SOD in H2O2 stimulated PC 12 cells. In addition, miR-146a-3p has been widely known as an important molecule in the astrocyte-related inflammatory response in neuropathy such as Alzheimer’s Disease and epilepsy (Aronica et al., 2010; Cui et al., 2010; Iyer et al., 2012). This evidence concerns the gene SOD1 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
