In this prospective observational study, we demonstrated that the diagnostic accuracy of initial hs-cTnT levels for the diagnosis of AMI is low regardless of renal function [AUC, 0.58 for low eGFR; AUC, 0.54 for normal eGFR; AUC, 0.57 for CKD (+) and AUC, 0.53 for CKD (−)] (Figure 2).
