The multivariate analysis by means of the logistic regression model, corrected by age and time since the stroke onset, confirmed that the BDNF rs6265 polymorphism (A+, or A− alleles) significantly predicts the outcome (Table 2)—the odds of obtaining a favorable outcome for a patient carrying the A− allele was 5.59 times higher than for patients carrying the A+ allele.
