In the whole sample with WCHF, before hospitalization, more than half received angiotensin‐converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) or angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) (55.4%) and diuretics (54.2%); these were more frequently used by patients in the ACS‐HF, CS, or HT‐HF groups and by those in the DHF, PO, or CS groups, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene ACE and hematocrit.
