The relative expression pattern of cell survival genes (TP53, BCl2, and CDK2), transcription factors involved in mammary carcinogenesis (NF-κB and STAT-3), proangiogenic molecules (MAPK, iNOS, MMP2, and MMP9), and growth factors (TGFB1, VEGFA, and EGFR) was found to be overexpressed in the mammary tumor tissue homogenate. This evidence concerns the gene BCL2 and breast cancer.
