Clustering dendrogram analysis of dysregulated pathways for upregulated miRNAs show that pathways appear to cluster into 4 main groups suggesting downregulation in, 1) pathways in cancer, proteoglycans in cancer, and viral carcinogenesis, 2) adherens junction, HIF-1 signaling, and glioma, 3) cell cycle, hippo signaling, and estrogen signaling pathway, and 4) extracellular matrix (ECM)-receptor interaction, fatty acid biosynthesis, and fatty acid metabolism (Fig 4A). This evidence concerns the gene HIF1A and central nervous system cancer.
