According to the logistic regression model using laboratory and chest X-ray findings on the extended dataset, we found that younger age, lower CRP, and the presence of bilateral infiltrate are independent predictors of SARS-CoV-2-associated pneumonia and that the model has an excellent discrimination with an ROC-AUC of 0.85 (95% CI: 0.77–0.93). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and susceptibility to pneumonia measurement.
