CSF2 and neoplasm: In this approach, a peritumorally injected pore-forming alginate gel loaded with GM-CSF and a tumor-penetrating doxorubicin-iRGD conjugate (Dox-iRGD) locally releases these drugs, inducing immunogenic death of TNBC cells while concentrating a large number of DCs to process endogenous tumor antigens in situ (Fig. 1).
