This result might suggest that the presence of ITIM-bearing B7-H6 on the cervical tumor cell leads to an interaction with the NK cells that both activates the NK cells and, after interacting with its natural receptor NKp30, transduces an intracellular signal leading to a decrease in the proliferation and migration rate of the B7-H6 presenting tumor cell. Here, NCR3 is linked to uterine cervix neoplasm.
