Despite multimodal treatment approaches, type I poorly differentiated endometrioid adenocarcinoma and type II cancers, including uterine serous papillary cancer (USPC) without estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) expression, have very poor prognosis unlike type I well-differentiated endometrioid adenocarcinoma, which expresses ER and PR. The gene discussed is PGR; the disease is cancer.
