The anti-inflammatory properties of iTRAB® were investigated in 3D-HTMCs through its ability to modulate the increase in pro-inflammatory (i.e., IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α) and pro-fibrotic cytokines, as well as MMPs which are known to be associated with glaucoma [51,52]. The gene discussed is IL1B; the disease is glaucoma.
