We specifically considered CAD, peripheral artery disease (PAD), ischemic stroke (IS), and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), as well as pre-specified non-atherosclerotic diseases, including T2D, dementia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and cancer, which are common in the clinical population likely to be treated with PCSK9 inhibitors.
