The results show that the expression levels of four genes were positively correlated with the overall survival time of pancreatic cancer patients in the TCGA database, namely SCG5, CRYBA2, CPE and CHGB, which are protective factors for the prognosis of pancreatic cancer. These results suggest that the abnormal expression of the above genes is closely related to the metastasis and prognosis of pancreatic cancer and thus has certain clinical significance for the judgement of the progression and prognosis of pancreatic cancer. The gene discussed is CRYBA2; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
