TNFRSF1A and systemic lupus erythematosus: Although we examined only patients with TRAPS with T50M, C43R, and C30Y mutations of TNFRSF1A, McDermott et al. also reported that serum sTNFR-I levels of TRAPS patients with C33Y, T50M, C88Y, and C52F mutations of TNFRSF1A in the inactive phase were lower than those in HCs, and in the active phase they were more elevated than those in the inactive phase, but were not as high as levels in rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
