Although more in-depth mechanisms, the diagnostic and prognostic roles for CRSP8 in thyroid cancer need further investigation, our findings at least suggest that silencing CRSP8 expression or blocking its binding to IKKα promoter or activating IKKα expression can ameliorate the outcome of patients with thyroid cancer, especially the ones with ATC, by promoting tumor differentiation, limiting tumor metastasis and recurrence. The gene discussed is CHUK; the disease is thyroid gland carcinoma.
