EGFR and glioblastoma: In a recent study, our group has prospectively analyzed ABT-414 ocular side effects in a smaller cohort of patients affected by EGFR-amplified recurrent GBM using in-vivo clinical confocal microscopy (CCM), demonstrating that ABT-414 toxicity is not only directed to the corneal epithelium, but also to corneal nerves, and that corneal side effects are detectable in all treated patients (15).
