High AMACR mRNA expression (in 208 patients), compared with low expression (in 121 patients), was significantly associated with poor survival (log-rank P value = 0.015; HR = 1.30, 95% confidence interval = 0.68–2.49) (Figure 6), indicating that the AMACR expression level is correlated with the clinical prognosis of glioma patients. Here, AMACR is linked to central nervous system cancer.
