The strict inclusion and treatment criteria of the trial allowed us to compare the long-term disease-free survival (DFS) of a group of mostly postmenopausal women suffering from early stage luminal breast cancer, which also expressed a relatively homogeneous set of clinicopathological characteristics, with densities of the following immune cells: CD1a+ immature myeloid dendritic cells, CD45RO+ memory T cells, CD20+ B cells and CD4+ T-helper cells. Here, CD4 is linked to breast carcinoma.
