Systolic and diastolic blood pressure were higher in the UK cohort (p < 0.001), whilst testosterone (p < 0.02), glucose (p < 0.001), WCC (p < 0.001), HDL (P < 0.001), CRP (p < 0.001), insulin and insulin resistance (p < 0.001) were higher in the Middle Eastern cohort without PCOS. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and polycystic ovary syndrome.
