MuRF-1 and proteasome levels were significantly greater (only in LC 21-days + 7-day I, +72% change and +30% and +25% change in LC 21-days + 7-day I and LC 30-days + 15-day I, respectively for each marker) in both groups of LC-cachexia+unloaded rodents compared to both groups of LC-cachexia animals (Figure 4A–C).
