Zhu et al. [38] proposed that FOXD2-AS1 could competitively sponge miR-185-5p to affect the expression of cell division control protein 42 (CDC42), suggesting that CDC42 is a potential downstream molecule of FOXD2-AS1 in CRC and that the complex axis of FOXD2-AS1/miR-185-5p/CDC42 modulated the proliferation and invasion of CRC. This evidence concerns the gene CDC42 and colorectal carcinoma.
