The CRS in COVID-19 is characterized by neutrophilia and lymphocytopenia, as well as elevated levels of interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-2, IL-6, IL-8, IL-9, IL-10, IL-17, Granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), interferon (IFN)γ, tumor-necrosis factor alpha (TNF-A), Interferon gamma-induced protein 10 (IP10_, and Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1 (MCP1) [3,113]. Here, TNF is linked to congenital rubella syndrome.
