Scn1b-null mice have defective neuronal development and excitability, present spontaneous generalized seizures and cardiac arrhythmias, and die by postnatal day 21 (Chen, 2004; Patino and Isom, 2010; Brackenbury and Isom, 2011; Lin et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene SCN1B and cardiac arrhythmia.
