The relative infiltrating levels of cytotoxic CD4, MAIT, and exhausted CD8+ cells were reduced in samples with vascular invasion (GEO number: GSE20017, Figure 5A, P < 0.05) and recurrent HCC tissues (GEO number: GSE56545, Figure 5B, P < 0.05), respectively, indicating that the lower infiltrating level might cause worse prognosis. Here, CD8A is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
