DOK3 and lung adenocarcinoma: In particular, loss of Dok-3 was observed in 7% of primary human lung adenocarcinoma samples from an array-based comparative genomic hybridization dataset, and Dok-3 was also found to be decreased in lymph node metastases as compared to normal lung tissue, although their reduction was not as significant as that of Dok-2, a target of frequent copy-number loss in human lung cancer.
