CD163 and schizophrenia: When analyzed by diagnosis/inflammatory subgroups (F = 35.18, df = 50,2, p < 0.001) (Figure 2B), it was apparent that the significant increase in CD163 in the schizophrenia group was driven by the high inflammatory/schizophrenia group which had 562.6 and 610.9% more CD163 mRNA than the low inflammatory/schizophrenia and the control subgroups, respectively (both p < 0.001).
