PAK1 and infection: Interesting, the mRNA of PAK1 and protein levels of phosphorylated PAK1 (Thr423) in the liver were significant increased at 7 and 11 weeks’ time point post‐infection by real‐time quantitative PCR and Western blot (Figure 1A, B, Figure S8), suggesting the hepatic PAK1 reaches its peaks in the time period between 7 and 11 weeks.
