Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) could enhance the aerobic glycolysis of breast cancer cells by extracellular vesicle (EV)-packaged lncRNA-HISLA. Blocking EV-transmitted lncRNA-HISLA via targeting GLUT1, GLUT3, and HK2 could inhibit the glycolysis in breast cancer cells. The gene discussed is SLC2A1; the disease is neoplasm.
