CRP and rheumatoid arthritis: In cohort 2, we found that the serum concentrations, as determined by ELISA, of CRP and FGL1, but not those of PLA2, SAA2, ORM2, and PADI4 were consistent with the results of the proteomics analysis for the comparison of patients with RA with moderate to high disease activity vs. healthy subjects, while only FGL1 was significantly different in the comparison between RA patients in remission or with low disease activity and healthy subjects (Supplementary Figure 3).
