Using the chi-square test, we found that the overall response rate (complete response + partial response) was higher in the OCT-1 group < median (33 of 39), when compared to the OCT-1 group ≥ median (20 of 38), in a statistically significant way (p = 0.005), thus validating the hyperexpression of the OCT-1 gene as an adverse prognostic factor in DLBCL. Here, POU2F1 is linked to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
