HDAC9 and T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma: In support of these assumptions, a recent preclinical study has demonstrated a synergistic effect between lenalidomide and another HDAC inhibitor (romidepsin) in T-cell lymphoma cell lines.[10] In this study, combination treatment with lenalidomide and romidepsin significantly enhanced cytotoxicity in T-cell lymphoma cell lines compared with treatment with either agent alone.
