KRAS and cancer: KRAS gene mutations are the most frequently described in the majority of cancers (Aguilera and Serna-Blasco, 2018; Luo et al., 2019; Senturk et al., 2019), especially in CRC, and up to 40% of all patients have a known KRAS mutant gene (Aguilera and Serna-Blasco, 2018).
