Considering the well-acknowledged vital roles of AURKA in bladder cancer development and progression, we conjectured that AURKA was the most potential target of PUF60. To confirm our hypothesis, we knocked down PUF60 expression by its specific siRNAs in 5637 cells, which significantly decreased the mRNA and protein expression of AURKA (Figure 6A). Here, PUF60 is linked to urinary bladder cancer.
