Among the up-regulated genes in the PUF60high group, 12 out 40 were those promoting the proliferation and progression of bladder cancer or serving as independent unfavorable biomarkers for patients, including MCM2 (45), CKS1B (46), CDCA8 (47), TK1 (48), RAD21 (49), AURKA (42, 44), CDCA5 (50), TRIP13 (51), TACC3 (52), IQGAP3 (53–55), CDC20 (56, 57), RECQL4 (58). Here, TRIP13 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
