BRCA1 and neoplasm: In addition to morphological features identified at the primary tumor site, specific architectural patterns (metastatic deposits with rounded and pushing contours/“medullary-like” invasion or infiltrative invasion composed exclusively of micropapillae) identified at metastatic sites have also been found to be highly concordant with BRCA1/2 mutation status and display a high level of agreement among observers (kappa >0.9) (51) (Figures 4G–I).
