IFNG and melanoma: Figure 6A shows that different levels of expression of the hypoxia gene signature does not impact patient OS. High expression of IFNG gene predicts a significant increase of OS (Figure 6B). Interestingly, when stratifying the cohort based on the high or low expression of the hypoxia signature genes, the increase of the OS based on IFNG gene expression was only significant on the most hypoxic tumors (Figure 6B). On a similar fashion, high Sdc-3 expression significantly correlated with a better OS in melanoma (Figure 6C).
