In the CCl4 liver fibrosis model, the proportions of Th1 (CD4+IFN-γ+) cells in liver nonparenchymal cells were 5.60 ± 0.37%, 13.63 ± 1.09%, and 27.40 ± 0.43% at 6, 8, and 12 weeks, respectively, which were statistically significantly different compared with that of the control group (10.06 ± 0.62%) (P=0.000, 0.008, 0.000) (Figures 6A, B).
