Several epidemiological studies have shown an increased risk of lymphoma associated with AID (e.g., SS, RA, SLE, celiac disease, etc.)[4], and in particular, an association between AID mediated B cells and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) (primarily, diffuse large B cell lymphoma) and between AID-mediated T cells and T-cells lymphomas [5]. This evidence concerns the gene AICDA and T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
