NPPB and peripheral arterial disease: With adjustment for age, sex, and BMI, circulating levels of BNP were correlated significantly and positively with SBP (P = 0.035), NLR (P = 0.007), creatinine (P = 0.030), VPT values (P =0.021), and the prevalence of DFU (P = 0.039), PAD (P = 0.013), DPN (P = 0.032), and DN (P = 0.020) and negatively with lymphocyte count (P = 0.003) and ABI (P = 0.038) (Table 2).
