Despite this, analysis of each MMP band in each of the three independent experiments showed that DDR1-IN-1 significantly reduced by ~ 25% the expression of the active MMP9 (~ 82KDa) in the secretomes from basal KCs cultures, and by ~ 50% in the secretomes from tumor-activated KCs (see Supplementary Fig. S7). The gene discussed is TBCE; the disease is neoplasm.
