Flow cytometry indicated that CD45+ cells (i.e., infiltrating mouse immune cells) in tumors at day 20 after tumor implantation can be separated into three major populations based on CD11b and CD45 signal intensities, which we named CD11bhighCD45high, CD11bmedCD45med, and CD11blowCD45low cells (Supplementary Fig. 2a).
